We appreciate you purchasing our WordPress theme. This documentation demonstrates the entire process to set up and administer a WordPress website from scratch in various sections.

What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as the skin for webpages built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is very simple to setup. You can quickly alter the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files and you are free to modify and expand it however you see fit.

Files structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

  • Screenshots : contains template screenshots. Not for production.

  • Theme : contains WordPress theme files.

  • alt-book-store-pro.zip: this folder content all the necessary files for the theme.

  • license.txt : contains license details.

  • readme.txt : contain information about theme images path and font use and usage scritps.

TS Key Activation

The steps for activating a TS Key are as follows.

Use the License Key that you will receive through email to activate your licence.

To activate your licence, just follow these steps.

Go to the Dashboard Appearance TS Key Activation Enter Key Save Changes.

After Entering The Key Activate Licence.

The key will be operational following licence activation, at which point you can begin using the theme.

My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

WordPress may be unable to create folders, submit images, or execute some scripts if file permissions are set incorrectly.

To manage files and make folders on the server, WordPress requires permissions.

  • Next, choose "File Permissions" from the context menu when you right-click on all of the folders in the main directory.
  • wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> click on checkbox read and write >> Click on the OK button to continue
  • Repeat the same procedure for the wp-content subdirectory.

Template Installation

Installing a template is a simple procedure.

Step 1. Utilize the WordPress admin to install a theme

The first step is to log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. then click on

Choose Appearance Themes

Click the Add New button at the top of the themes screen once you've arrived there.

Click on upload theme button.

Click on Browse Button then select your alt-book-store-pro.zip theme and click on Install Now Button..

Your theme will now be installed by WordPress, and you will see a success notification with a link to activate or watch a live preview.

Step 2. Install a Theme using FTP

The theme can be uploaded using FTP, which is your second installation choice. To use this technique, first log into your website using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Only the extracted Total folder from the theme file you got should be uploaded to your server.

then sign in to your WordPress website and go to Appearance Themes to activate total folder.

Plugin Installation.

Using plugins, you can increase and expand the usefulness of WordPress.

How to turn on plug-ins If you want these features in your theme, you must enable the plugin. In order to activate the plugin in your theme, follow these steps.

To directly install a WordPress plugin using a.zip archive, follow the instructions below for uploading the plugin .

Install Required Plugins:

Without the Book Store Pro plugin installed and activated, you cannot use Book Store to display content on your website.

1.Add Plugin : Go to Dashboard Add New Upload plugin..

enable the install button after clicking it.

One-Click Demo Content Importer

To set up your theme, simply select to import sample content. You can use this information to help you create a website for website creation.

Go toDashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Then select "Run Importer" after selecting "Demo Content Importer."

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section

To reorder an area simply means to arrange it according to our needs. Drag the section to the top or bottom as necessary to continue with this part. Your front view will alter in accordance with customizer values when you drag any section to the top or bottom.

You can reorder sections by simply dragging and dropping options into the desired sequence.

So as to continue with Section Ordering.

Step 1 Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Plugin Setting >> Section Ordering

After choosing "Demo Content Importer," choose "Run Importer."

How to set up homepage

The index page with the most recent post will be visible when you visit your site after activating the theme. You must now configure the home page template so that it displays the entire demo area on your front page.


Setup Home Page

Use these guidelines to build up your home page.

1. Create Page to set template : Go to Dashboard Pages Add New Page.

Select the template.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting Reading Set the home page as the front page show static page.

When you're finished, you can view the entire demo collection on the front screen.

Setup Topbar

So as to continue Topbar Section.

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Setting Topbar .

This will enable you to setup Topbar section.


Site Identity

So as to continue Site Identity, follow the below steps.

Setup Header

Go to Dashboard Pages Add New

For menus you need to create menu and add menus from Add menu items.

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Header.

Repeat the same steps if you want to add more pages.

This will enable you to include the Header portion.


Setup Header Widgets

Follow the instructions below to set up the header widgets.

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Header Widgets.

Setup Slider

Setup Our Author Section

Setup Latest Post Section

Posts choice will become available after installation on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard Posts Categories.

Go to Dashboard Posts Add New .

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Latest Post Section.

This will enable you to setup Latest Post Section.


Setup Newsletter Section

The Contact Form 7 plugin must be uploaded and activated in order to set up the Newsletter Section.

On the dashboard following installation, there will be a Contact option.

Go to Dashboard Contact Add New .


Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Newsletter Section.

This will enable you to setup Newsletter Section


Setup Blog Page section

For more setup instructions, see the photos below. The upload and activation of the Book Store Pro Posttype component is required first.

Posts choice will become available after installation on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard Posts Add New.

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Blog Page .

This will enable you to setup Blog Page section.


Setup Social Icons

Setup Contact Page

You must download and enable the contact form 7 plugin in order to set up the Contact Page.

The Contact choice will show up on the dashboard following installation.

Go to Dashboard Contact Add New .


Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Contact.



This is how the Contact website will look on the website.

Footer Text

So as to continue with Footer Text section,

Go to Appearance Customize Theme Settings Footer Text.

Select the copyright text option in the bottom text area.

The content in the footer will be resemble this on the website.


Themes Plugin

  • Using plugins, you can increase and expand the capability that comes with WordPress.

    If you want these features in your theme, you must enable the plugin. Use these guidelines to enable the plugin in your theme.

  • Access your WordPress Administration Panel by logging in. (Dashboard).

  • Click the Posts tab.

  • With that done, click Categories for blog posts.

  • Type in the name of your new category.

  • After that, click the Add New Category button.

Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post

  • Access your WordPress Administration Panel by logging in. (Dashboard).

  • Click the Posts tab.

  • Click the Add New tab.

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

1.The component must first be downloaded from the source (which will be a zip file). ( Post Type plugin.zip). You must then visit the WordPress dashboard area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

2.Then select the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen.

3.You'll arrive at the plugin upload screen after doing this. Here, you must pick the plugin file you previously downloaded to your computer by clicking the choose file button.

4.After choosing the file, you must pick the install now button.

5.The plugin file from your machine will now be uploaded to WordPress, where it will be installed. After installation is complete, a notification like this will appear.

6.Once the plugin has been installed, you must select the Activate Plugin link to use it.
