What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as the skin for websites built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is incredibly simple to setup. You may quickly modify the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files and you are free to alter and expand it however you see fit.

Files structure

The template bundle that you downloaded is divided into various directories. Let's examine the contents of each folder:

Screenshots : contains template screenshots. Not for production.
Theme : contains WordPress theme files.
medical-care-pro.zip: this folder content all the necessary files for the theme.
license.txt : contains license details.
readme.txt : contain information about theme images path and font use and usage scritps.

TS Key Activation

The steps for activating a TS Key are as follows.

As you will get the License Key on your Email, use that key to Activate License.

Follow the following Process to Activate License.

Go to the Dashboard Appearance TS Key Activation Enter Key Save Changes.

After Entering The Key Activate Licence.

After you Activate Licence,the key will be active and then you can Getstarted with the Theme.

My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

Incorrect file permissions can block WordPress from creating folders, upload images, or run some scripts

WordPress needs permissions to manage files and create folders on the server.

After that select all folders in root directory and then right click to select ‘File Permissions’.
wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> click on checkbox read and write >> Click on the OK button to continue

same process repeated for wp-content folder

Template Installation

Template installation is very easy process.

Step 1. Theme Installation

First thing you need to do is login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on

Go to the menu Appearance Themes

Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.

Click on upload theme button.

Click on Browse Button then select your alt-medical-care-pro.zip theme and click on Install Now Button..

WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Step 2. Install a Theme using FTP

Your second installation option is to upload the theme via FTP. For this method first log into your site via FTP and browse to your folder located at wp-content/themes. Unzip the theme file you downloaded and upload only the extracted Total folder to your server.

Next log into your WordPress site and navigate to Appearance Themes to activate total folder.

Plugin Installation.

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to activate plugins If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

To install a WordPress Plugin manually by .zip archive and follow the below steps for Upload plugin .

Install Required Plugins:

medical-care-pro Posttype plugin, Contact Form 7

In order to use Medical Care theme you need to install and activate medical-care-pro plugin without this theme you can not display your content on your site.

1.Add Plugin : Go to Dashboard Add New Upload plugin..

click on the install now button and activate.

One-Click Demo Content Importer

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup. This content will guide you through building your website for website creation.

Go toDashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Click on"Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer".

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section

Section reordering basically means to arranage the section as per our requirement. In order to continue with this section you need to drag section on top or bottom where you need it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

For Section Re-ordering,you just need to simply drag-and-drop options into any order as per your wish .

In order to continue with Section Ordering.

Step 1 Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Plugin Setting >> Section Ordering

Click on "Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer".

How to set up homepage

Once you view your site after activating the theme, You will see the index page with the latest post. Now you will need to setup the home page template to show all the demo section on your front page.

Setup Home Page

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

1. Create Page to set template : Go to Dashboard Pages Add New Page.

Select the template.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting Reading Set the front page display static page to home page.

Once you have done with this, you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup Topbar

Themes Plugin

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

If you want these features in your theme, you must activate the plugin. In order to activate the plugin in your theme, follow these instructions.

How to activate plugins

Go to Plugins Installed Plugins medical-care-pro-Posttype. Activate

Setup Navigation

First of all create pages from Go to Dashboard Pages Add New Page.
Go to Appearance Menu.
Click on Create a new menu link
Give your menu a name in the Menu name field, then click the Save Menu button.
After creating a menu. Pages must be added by checking the appropriate boxes. You can drag and drop the menu list into position after adding it..
Choose the position of the menu theme from the checkboxes below.

Access your WordPress Administration Panel by logging in (Dashboard).
Click the Posts tab.
With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
Type in the name of your new category.
After that, click the Add New Category button.

Click the Publish button.

Creating a Blog post

Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
Click the Posts tab.
Click the Add New tab.

A shortcode is an effective tool for creating content. click here Using shortcodes is simple. Make sure the editing mode is set to Visual First.

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

1.First, you need to download the plugin from the source (which will be a zip file ( Post Type plugin.zip). Next, you need to go to WordPress admin area and visit Plugins » Add New page.

2.After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page.

3.This will bring you to the plugin upload page. Here you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded earlier to your computer.

4.After you have selected the file, you need to click on the install now button.

5.WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after installation is finished.

6.Once installed, you need to click on the Activate Plugin link to start using the plugin.
